Hecate, Greek goddess associated with magic, crossroads, witchcraft and necromancy. Also, she’s considered a protector of mothers and of the wilderness.
This was requested by someone who really liked Hecate. I like her a lot, too, but she doesn’t appear in a lot of stories I know, so I forgot her… Now I remember she’s a pretty powerful, ancient goddess, related to the dark arts (hohoho), mother of some monsters (like Scylla, ugh) and inspiration to some awesome witches like Medea. She stayed loyal to Zeus so he respected her and even feared her immense power. Also, Hecate is represented in arts in many different ways: as the triple gooddess, with three heads, with a dog, a snake and a key, alone, with three animal heads, with torches… I believe she’s more of a benevolent goddess who really likes humans and helps them in every possible way, but nowadays people prefer her dark side, her “crone aspect”, as a chtonic deity.
Visually breathtaking Disney movies:
2/?? - TarzanI always wondered why no one makes a thousand photosets of these sorts of visuals from this movie.

Moon Rise Time Slice…. this is a collage of 11 photos taken over 27 minutes and 59 seconds
Gorgeous. Also photographic proof that the moon is not, in fact, larger near the horizon. That is merely an illusion.
What do they call that illusion? “The Moon Illusion” of course. ASAPScience did a really nice video about it.
Not only that, but see how the moon is red near the horizon? That’s because of the same science that makes the sunsets red and orange! And I did a video about that: “Why is the Sky Any Color At All?”
It all comes together, man! Science!

Seven Minimalist Sins by Alexey Malina
The concept of mortal sin is a corruption of the soul and in Alexey’s allusory series sin is expressed in the corrosion of the pure geometric form; a slight deformity that poisons the entire picture. You can purchase Lust (and only Lust because let’s be honest, that’s definitely the most desirable of all the sins) in a high quality giclee print over at the bigcartel.
Oil Painted Skin by Ivan Alifan
Preserved in oils and pigments is a medium people would like to be remembered in, but Ivan takes that vision to its logical conclusion: literally covering the subjects in his paintings with the same viscous paint that gave them life, seeping out of every pore.
